Residential Security Services
Real Officers Protecting South Florida Communities
Our residential security guards protect the people who live on your property, not just the property itself. Officers provide a visible presence, monitor access, address unauthorized visitors, document incidents, support community rule enforcement, and contact law enforcement when circumstances require it.
Their role is to respond professionally, de-escalate situations where possible, and operate within Florida law and the post orders established for your community.
Important: We provide licensed security officers and patrols not alarm or camera installation. If your community already has cameras and gates, our officers are the human layer that actually responds when something happens.

Questions
HOA & Residential Security FAQs
How much does HOA or neighborhood security patrol cost?
Cost depends on coverage hours, armed vs unarmed officers, and whether you need a stationed gatehouse officer or roving patrol. Patrol-only coverage is significantly less than 24/7 gatehouse staffing. We provide a written proposal formatted for your board with clear hourly rates and no hidden fees.
Do gated communities really need security guards if we have cameras and gates?
What can security guards legally do?
Private security officers in Florida do not have the same general powers as police officers. Their role typically includes access control, observation, patrol, incident documentation, de-escalation, property-rule enforcement, and contacting law enforcement when necessary. In certain circumstances, Florida law may permit temporary detention, but the legal authority depends on the specific location, conduct, and facts involved.
For a detailed explanation, read our guide to whether security guards can detain you in Florida.
Should our community use armed or unarmed officers?
Most HOAs, condos and gated communities are well served by unarmed Class D officers. Armed Class G officers are recommended where there is elevated risk or a specific board requirement. We give an honest recommendation during your assessment we don’t upsell coverage your community doesn’t need.
Can you provide coverage for only nights or weekends?
How quickly can officers start at our property?
We respond within 2 hours and can deploy licensed officers within 4 hours anywhere in Miami-Dade, Broward or Monroe County including emergency situations where your current provider has failed to show.
