Armed or unarmed?
Not sure which officer you need? Start here.
Florida Class D license
Unarmed security officer
Most posts we staff are unarmed. Class D officers handle access control, front desks, gatehouses, events and patrol, where presence, clear reporting and de-escalation do the work.
Good fit for: offices, HOAs and condos, hotels, events, construction sites after hours
Florida Class G license
Armed security officer
Armed Class G officers are the right call where cash or high-value product is on site, where an insurer or regulator requires it, or for higher-risk late-night posts.
Good fit for: dispensaries, cash-handling businesses, high-value equipment yards
Every officer holds a Florida Class D license, and armed officers also hold Class G. Read the full comparison of armed and unarmed guards →
